Cory Smith
Senior Minister

Cory came on board with the Kaufman Church of Christ in July 2001 as the Youth Minister.  After serving as Youth Minister for six years, Cory moved into the role of Associate Minister in June 2007.  As Associate Minister, Cory shared the preaching responsibilities and led our HomeTeams ministry.  He has a Bachelor's degree from Abilene Christian University, and has also completed his Master's degree from ACU as well.  After serving the Kaufman Church of Christ for seven years, the Elders recently announced to the congregation that Cory would serve as our new Senior Minister.  Cory's wife, Leslie, teaches 5th grade Math at Nash Intermediate School.  He and Leslie have two children, Kimberlyn and Jace.

Troy Martin
Youth Minister

Troy began his ministry with the Kaufman church in September of 2009.  Troy comes to us from a four year ministry in Lovington NM.  He is a 2005 graduate of Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock TX with a degree in Biblical and Ministry Studies.  Troy and his wife, Linda, have been married for 11 years.  Linda is a stay at home mom and is very involved in Troy’s ministry with the teens.  Together Troy and Linda have 2 wonderful children, Calista (10) and Christian (8).  The Martins are excited to serve God by serving the teens of the Kaufman church of Christ.
